Due to increased longevity and improved health, this almost second half of our lives can be the best time of all.
Sandra Tsing Loh – The Madwoman in the Volvo
Ah, the inescapable fact of aging. We all grow older but how we feel, think and act about it can make all the difference in the world. We can become miserable and believe the best of times are behind us, or we can see the truth, that the best is yet to come.
Although much of this does have to do with our personal attitudes about aging, it’s not all just in our heads. The wisdom contained in our bodies and the actions we take often lead to attitudinal changes even quicker than changes in attitudes can lead to physical changes.
My guest this week, Sandra Tsing Loh, host of The Loh Down On Science, heard on many radio stations around the country, knows the scientific facts of aging as well as the attitudinal adjustments required to live a full and joyful life.
Dealing with the grief that we’ve been carrying for decades is the way to physical and emotional health.
And, the best part is Sandra handles it all with the sharpest sense of humor, wit, and energy you can imagine. Witness it all for yourself during our conversation this week about her newest book, The Madwoman in the Volvo.
Probably the biggest, and related, survival tip, though, is to have no shame.
Have no shame, live long and prosper, stay healthy and may we all age as well as The SUPER BOWL, which turns 50 tomorrow and just keeps getting better.
Have a great week and a Super Sunday,
